Well 2 - 34 hour resets in a month don't sound that bad to me .. I always got a restart every weekend with schneider.. Which i was always out of hours had no choice... This is a slow time of year if you think your going to go somewhere else and run all the miles you wan't then you better wake up.. Im not trying to burst your bubble but if your new you better stay at one place get you atleast one year before moving. I would agree with Dryver crete would be a better choice than the others,But your going to have to prove your self where ever you go.

Glad all is going well with you. Hopefully, next time someone tells you not to do something, you'll listen.
calalan07 Thanks this. -
What 21 year old do you know listens to someone older with more experience?
If we all listened to people with more experience (mom & dad) when we were younger we wouldn't be driving trucks.
-
*sighs heavily*. Unfortunately, your very right there. I vaguely remember being 21 and not listening either. Still had that problem AND have that problem still, even tho I'm supposed to be older and wiser.
trucker_101 Thanks this. -
Wouldn't the first $0 check raise a huge red flag and the second $0 check be mailed to my home where I would be sitting applying for a better job. Leave charity to the local church. -
So, like with Calalan07, I am a student driver and I am heading to TransAm for orientation in 2 weeks.
I have seen the good and the bad in this thread about TransAm. I have learned a few things:
1: DO NOT LEASE. O/O is for experienced truckers who have the know how of the industry.
2: Do not screw up at orientation: Don't drink, don't be late. Keep your eyes open and mouth shut unless there is a good question.
3: Expect to stay out from home for at least 2 months.
So all in all, I am kinda on a edge about going to TransAm now. Even with the experienced truckers that are there, I am concerned about being screwed over in some way or form.
Is there any good reason as to why I should or should not consider TransAm as my place to go? -
