Southeast.

It should also be noted that Spicer recommends not running a driveline at zero angle. Running at zero angle, the u-joints don’t move, and the needle bearings won’t rotate inside the joint caps. This will cause the joint to wear out quickly .

@Rontonio Just curious, when you ordered your WS, was a second stick an option or is air shift the only choice?
-
I don’t know. I had no interest in a 2 stick set up. If I were gu easing I would it is not an option.OLDSKOOLERnWV, SAR, cke and 1 other person Thank this.

Not sure if your question was toward me or not but I will answer. The new one we are ordering right now it is 367 is setback axle with tridrive overall length is 381 with 54" spacing on drives, and we have 389 short hood, tridrive with 60", overall length spacing 387". I think this helps. It looks like setback overall length is longer but we reduced the spacing between drives and it became shorter. We had 389 with lift axle and turning radius was much bigger VS tridrive. If anybody has any other opinion on Ultrashift with 2 speed vs manual with 4 speed I would appreciate. So far I think we will go with the manual with 4 speed. I will call my sales rep and let him know.

For what it’s worth, I just checked the truck I’m putting the 2-speed auxiliary in. It’s 230” WB. Front driveshaft will be 19”, rear driveshaft will be 33”.
OLDSKOOLERnWV, Oxbow, cke and 2 others Thank this. -
This is true.
I've helped set up several stationary irrigation power units and we had to go through the same process. The driveline can't be dead straight or the u joints will get the grease pounded out of them. And equal angles to cut down on vibration.OLDSKOOLERnWV, SAR, Oxbow and 2 others Thank this. -
Just got my first break down with Ultrashift plus. fault code 64 and transmission doesn't want to go into any gears. I hope it is covered under warranty, only 58000 miles on a truck.
cke Thanks this.
