I get a few P.Ms a month about Trimac and most folks are taking a van training company approach to it. Trimac like most tanker outfits don't really compare in that regard. There is no mandatory time with a trainer, no set number of miles of hours. So many different things that just don't compare with Schneider, Prime, Werner etc... Orientation is 4 days, TLC is four as well and all that does is just explain the company in a very general sense.

For instance, I went to orientation by myself and 13 guys were in TLC with me but we were all different. Some were going to pull dry bulk, others industrial gas and two were Elite. TLC isn't as much a training thing as an explanation of how and why we do things the way we do. I had my truck by the 2nd day of orientation, some guys had already been running loads. It's all very general.

Contact TRIMAC and see what they require as far as you are concerned and what you currently have if you are a recent CDL grad.

The reason I asked for him instead of saying google is because he reads a lot of the posts on here and may know if someone has posted that they were given an exception to the rules

    HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thanks this.

Likely a lot of his replies are also based on a GOOGLE search , very generic and low in content at times
