los angeles,oh no not the "l had six car lenghts until 4 cut me off"excuse,,so you didnt ease up on the throttle to give you six back ? you probably accelerated to close the gap to one,to keep others from "cutting"you off right??

Usually. There can be exceptions. But chances are, particularly if you are driving a big rig, that you're gonna get a ticket. (After all, we bes "perpheshionel drivers" and we is 'sposed to no how to avoid all the dumb arses out there. . .)

I hope THAT was said tongue in cheek!

One event that stands out in my mind, I was heading down a hill and a car pulled out in front of me from the Save-A-Lot. Took everything I had NOT to flatten them. Then, instead of getting up to speed, they hit the brakes to turn right back into the next entrance for the same #### store. Before this car, I had NOBODY in front of me. If they had waited 2 seconds, there was NOBODY behind me. If I had been loaded, they would've been dead.

Nope. And point is there are times that your safety gap gets taken fast enough you have to slow faster than what's confrontable. When 4 jump into a 6 gap they are on breaks in a hurry therfore you are too to keep from ramming them. Which I avoided and had a good gap in front again just a few seconds.
If you have "NEVER" had to stomp breaks to avoid someone you must be the luckiest driver I have ever heard from or pull the breaks every time traffic picks up or telling stories.

I've had to brake, but never have l had to slam so hard to avoid a collision or think to swerve to avoid a collision or roll over.l try to anticipate the flow and conditions of the topography in FRONT of me..
