I had a load cancel this morning that was my reload 80 miles away coming right back to bing. But I guess it worked out. Reloaded when I got back and picking up at the same place I'm delivering tomorrow. Bumping 3 docks on Friday so 2 billable loads on Fri. Not a bad week for a short week. Only 20 miles to my reload on Fri and 70 mi back to the yard.

I did something yesterday I've never done, bumped 4 docks in one day. And I didn't leave the house until 9 am and had the truck empty about 7 pm. Two short automotive loads, straight through, $2k. Felt good.

    Got quoted $760 for one B-stone steer tire yesterday at a T/A. I about #### a brick.

I guess the up side is they actually had one in stock.

When I was in Raphine last week they only had "off brand" stuff in stock.

Previous week: 5 drops on the outbound load, one pick one drop on the return load. Drove my usual way, 65 to 67mph. 3391 miles and I burned 442 gallons of fuel for a weekly average of 7.67.

Last week: 5 drops on the outbound load, was 3400 pounds heavier than previous week. One pick one drop on the return but was 7700 pounds lighter. I set the cruise on 73 when the limit was 70, and I ran 75 once I was on 40/25/10. Across KS/OK I ran 65-70 depending on traffic, 75 in TX. On the return trip I ran 70 most of the time because I figured my mileage was shot anyway. It was 3427 miles and I burned 508 gallons for an average of 6.74 for the week.

The weather both weeks was similar, being that there was not really any high winds to speak of. Temperatures were roughly the same, hot. Lol. Given what I probably average running 65 and what I probably averaged last week I’d say the general rule of one tenth of a mile per gallon for every one mile per hour faster is pretty close.

I think it is pretty close to that as well with my truck. What is your average MPG now on the truck? I am 8-8.5 MPGs on almost everything now. A little better with lighter loads but very consistent. I am trying to find out about changing my set up from the 500/1850/1550 Eco Torque set up to a 455/1850 High torque set up. I DRIVE 62-67 pretty much all the time now. 65 or 67 on 70 mph roads and 62-65 on the 65 mph roads. My RPM is 1150-1250 and the high torque settings are perfect for that road speed. This it might improve mpg by 1/2 mpg..

I’m at 7.72 on paper for the last 4 weeks. I track weekly, 4 weeks, and lifetime on paper. We’re never weight sensitive so if I’m stopping I top of both tanks and fill the def, makes it easy to track.

During the day when it’s hot I won’t shut my truck down, a little because of my dog but mostly I don’t like to sweat. Once it cools off after I park I’ll turn it off, when I’m in Phoenix it runs until I leave town though. Lol.

I been doing these pretty regularly the last month. It's nice that it delivers the same day or 2am the latest. The 1st 2 docks I bump are fast the 3rd is hit or miss, grocery warehouse and lumpers Lol

We should at least have the trans bolted back up this weekend. About 2700 in total with trans parts, new ez pedal clutch and rear main seal tool. Rear main tool was 400

You'll love that EZ Pedal when it's time to adjust it. Sure makes things a breeze once you know where the bolt is during rotation. I marked my balancer to make it quicker.
