    I was in Indiana in 77 or 78 when the steel haulers went on strike and there were punks painting cinder blocks flat black and hanging them from overpasses at windshield height.
    Imagine hitting one at speed in a cabover.

    I saw a couple trucks with the tires shot out, trucks with broken headlights, cut fuel lines, but the clincher was this R model Mack with a load of sheet steel.
    All 18 tires were flat, the tarps were burnt to a crisp and someone shot a hole in the oil pan, there was a big puddle of oil under the truck.

    Most weren't striking truckers, just A holes whose mothers never slapped them for being stupid!
