Hey bgirl; brother I can't believe I will be the first...

Would you be my mom? I can email you a Christmas list, just happen to have some fresh grandchildren ready too!

Good luck with the sons loneliness...just remember to put a reminder in his Christmas stocking...lot lizards are not good friends to have...talk about a wallet drain, worse than a fridge and batteries!

Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year to you and your family....what time for Christmas dinner?

And see!!! The only one I really met was notarps..... And I don't really want to say that too loud with fear others will hear & laugh at me!

I've spoken to lil blue pony & blackw900 over the phone.... But they always had the faster truck & was able to get away!

An inverter does not make free electricity lol. Inverters USE electricity, and it will drain the battery as quick as anything else when the engine is not running.

Get him a CB for sure. I have spent many a lonely hour jackin my jaw to another trucker as we rolled through the night. A good conversation can sure help eat up miles, and hours that otherwise would have seemed like an eternity. Through the years I have even made a couple close friends with whom I have kept contact.

Sirius or XM radio would be another awesome Christmas gift if he doesn't have it already. Or, a laptop with an aircard. TV/DVD combo.

shesshhh, am i making my own wish list here or what?

Sign him up for Idle-Air. It has outlets he can plug into when hes not driving to run his fridge. I had a college size 4.5 cubic feet fridge where my passenger seat was. I had a 2500 watt inverter to run all my "extras", but it would really drain my battery on down time. Idle-Air, when you can find it; is a good way to save fuel and your batteries.

And what do you do then when idle air goes belly up just like park n view did ten years ago? Last I heard idle air was filing bankruptcy.... You can't pay me enough money to use their services... Put that filthy box in my window... and breathe all that virus infected air....

It sounds to me like the battery's, or A battery is probably bad.
Another thing that could help is a battery cutout. This is where they set up the battery's so that his appliances are only running off one battery. So that the others will be available and fully charged for starting the truck.
Then the low one he has used all night can charge while he is running.
