Dude we all know that after that kid got her bearings back, after she calmed down she had a good laugh at it. She probably got on the phone looking for sympathy and got laughed at by her friends who explained to her that it was funny. Because she is a teen or young adult who is extremely susceptible to peer pressure she eventually probably gave in to them and agreed it was funny, if not by her own logic without peer pressure

I did it once, and I will do it again damit! That does not make me a hypocrite!

If that were my daughter, which you just scare the crap out of for no reason, and when you blew that air-horn, she dropped the phone, which I just paid $500.00 for.
I would have to pull you out of that truck, and put a whipping on you.

Let them call you a hypocrite, that shizt is funny. I've had trucks do it to me before. Hell I was waiting for cars to be unloaded at a friends job to help move them onto the lot. Being abit younger I said some smart ### remark involving that its not rocket science to get cars off those trailers. Of course the dude got pissed. When he was leaving I had my head under a car to check something and he got my ### pretty good. Give him credit on that.

But lets credit some of you car haulers, that shizt does not look easy. After a few more trucks I realized you guys bust your ### doing it. So massive credit to you all. Now that I unload trucks to, I realize alot goes into it, more then what people thing. Stuff doesn't magically appear into it and the wheels don't just don't magically move.

I got jacked once myself, in Laredo unloading. I drove a full shift all night almost 10.5 hours straight, got to receiver a couple hours early, got checked in ets... Layed my head on steering wheel just started to doze when cell phone rang. Freekin tired, I botched my backing into the dock (it was kind of tight place to get into) pulled out spun a U then tried again. Hole shot fromt the start, got my foot off pedals just letting it idol in reverse then a massive air blast from truck next to me. Bout scared the sheet out of me. Locked it up pulled the breaks jumped out and looked. Dude next to me just laughing his ace off. I was pizzed as hell. Got it in there jumped out running twards this dudes truck. As soon as I got in front of my rig saw he was one HUGE SOB had to turn around and walk back with my tail between my legs. I was pizzed as hell then, but I got over it and did and do see the humor in it. Bunch of other truckers were laughing at me, two of them even came over to my truck to give me a sympathy rouse, it was funny. It just wasnt funny for me at that one minute.

What may be funny to some isn't funny to other. And that usually means that don't have a sense of humor. Not sure if any of you guys used a machine called "Wave" but in Targets its one of our drivable lifts allowing us to reach high places. Back when the store was overnight we use to take it out on the floor and debuild isles so that we can put the overflow of material on the truck. I was at the max height it can go (which is high as hell and I hate heights some times) and some people though it was funny to hit the switch at the front to remove the power from the Lift when I was in the air. Making it so none of my controls work. I was stuck up there for 10 minutes, sure I was pissed. But all I can do is laugh it off and get pay back to those douch-ebags.

There is always a difference between humor and just being mean. Knowing the difference is all that counts.

also don't drive in the fast truck lane with a slow truck causing faster trucks to pass you on the right this is a big problem on the east coast that has me passing them getting in front of the slow truck and slowing down to show them what a pita they are.if your'e not passing stay right it;s a no brainer i was taught 35 years ago

    I.

    i) i would have to disagree with this one; If someone smells objectionable(to me), i'm not going to treat them any differently. This is wrong behavior and goes against g) and h). i may say something to them about it, but i'm not going to treat them any differently because of it.

The same goes for clothes. It would be best to wear clean clothes, but if not, this is such a minor non-issue. We in society judge TOO MUCH on appearance and we need to stop. It doesn't affect me how clean or dirty your clothes are. What DOES affect me is if you are decent person or a douchebag. Clothes really aren't indicative of either.
i mean hitler wore very clean clothes.

    II.

    a) In addition low speed=low rpm=low noise. i always try to put it in say 3rd or 4th and just idle through the lot so as to make as little noise as possible.

    III.

    a) i would have to disagree with the headlights being turned off; Safety is much more important than "supposedly" having a driver being bothered by the light. i don't think drivers are generally "bothered" by the lights in most cases. i don't know what truckstops you go to, but at least 50% of the ones i go to do not have floodlights are unwilling to turn them on. Either way lights on is much safer.
Now if you are backing up and facing another truck and have your lights shining directly into another truck, then yes you should turn them off.

b1) No, i feel that the practice of dimming the lights to let another truck know it's clear (as if they can't figure it out for themselves) is completely outmoded and completely unnessesary and should be stopped. Nor is the practice of "thanking" another truck for doing something you didn't ask them to do in the first place.
These practices should generally be stopped.

If one wishes to continue with these practices, then one should continue to enjoy it with other like minded folks and not get offended by people who don't.

    c) i would have to disagree as personal experience has shown that driving with the driving/fog lights DOES increase visability slightly to significantly. However, i agree that you shouldn't run these lights whenever you're near other vehicles.

The sad thing is that you actually think that this is true....I guess you aint smart enough to recognize bad behaviour on your part.
