Sitting in kentucky minus a placard. Trying to find a blank replacement so the company can fax me the ID number to tape on there. Plenty of places sell placards but nobody within 50 miles has any yellow ones. Tried truck stops, walmart, grainger. Fedex facility 30 miles away has no phone number listed. Where can I buy a 5.1 placard? Thanks.

Can you have a print shop print you a color copy of one and use clear tape to affix it?

Shipper did not provide? If so, should have grabbed a few extra to keep in the truck.

Also ID is not needed unless bulk...

since you did not say where in KY.. Placards in Kentucky (KY) on ThomasNet.com

Make one on backside of another placard with a permanent marker. Get you to where you can buy one. I do this when a placard blows off or dissolves and dont have a spare handy.

Take off all placards and drive careful, like you have some sense, until you find replacements.

Or park till Someone brings you some.

Not the smartest idea.... Hazmat is Hazmat and should be Placarded... If the driver gets into an accident the first responders need to know this.

Shipper's responsibility to provide placards not the driver.

    Yes.
If it was needed why didn't the driver request them? Or demand them, refusing to leave with the load before they were supplied?
