I only check orientation to day, time, place.

They said she ate other type of food. No hx of diabetes. My first thought as well. Cool extremites kept rearing ugly head.

O2 not administered. Ambulance on scene about 4 min after us. Color was stable Pulse ox remained at 98.

Well you got me interested now..so you need to find out what the "rest of the story is" and please fill me in...very interesting! Thanks for sharing!

That heart rate is a bit low..now matter how good of shape she is in. Possibly passed a clot, sinking the rate, and bringing on the weakness, but the shakes doesn't fit somehow....I need to know!

Ambulance crew and family could not make a decision as to whether to go by ambulance or not.

I finally looked at the son and said, I would suggest ambulance.

    The shakes still bother me.

If I was there and saw the post, I would know where the missing heart rate went.:biggrin_25525:

    To me, when I panicked.

I used to work in a hospital. Worked every area. Morgue, psych, er, surgery, etc. Even seen a dog in the morgue getting x-rayed for bullets for police evidence. Man came home shot his whole family, killed the dog too then killed himself. You see everything in that line of work. Between that and driving a wrecker and being in the military, no wonder nothing surprises me anymore...:biggrin_2554:

No need to panick..just lay out a few steel bear traps, so if Pt decides to some stupefied sleep walking, step into one trap, the heart rate will definitely jump back to normal! LOL>>>>ROFLMAO:biggrin_2554:

I have thought about turning in my pager and retiring so to speak. But tonight, we only had 3 people show up. The police officer who is an emt on the fire department as a volunteer, an emt and myself as the paramedic.

I miss running full time, but I also like the full nights I sleep on the road.
