Not sure if the company drivers out there or even all the owner operators are aware, but for the next month TA and Petro select locations are offering double points when you fuel. So far I've only hit up Livingston and Carl's Corner and tomorrow will be pointing up at Ogallala. Those points do add up eventually. I rarely fuel at Love's, I don't care for their showers as much. Sometimes I'll even bypass the stop and ask for another down the road. Fueled there the other day. Tornado fan was on sale, been wanting one. Was ready to pay cash. Turns out I had over $30 on the Love's card. NICE. And yea, that fan rocks! Has a dial for speed control, and no occilate feature (who needs that and it's always the part that breaks and/or makes a terrible crunching noise) But drains the batteries fast on high.
They putting in def at the pump at loves in shepherdsville, ky i-65 exit 117 now. I prefer pilot fuel and coffee because of the rewards card. Showers pretty much suck at all pilots. Throw down cracked tile and hang a garden hose overhead then dry with a dry clean startched towel.
Funny! Except that it's sad and true. TA/PETRO showers are the best and good for 10 days. I basically drive from Flying J to Flying J and pick up freight along the way so that's where I usually shower
