One of the requirements for C1 truck driving school in Indianapolis was a stable job history which I did not have once I got my CDL it didn't really matter but I still stuck to the story. Now it's 12 years later and all the information on my resume and applications is completely accurate

It is by the sheer GRACE OF GOD that you were NOT charged with any sex offenses, which would have caused you to have to register as a sex offender.
An angel of mercy was looking out for you!

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

Dollars to donuts, small "Ma & Pa" companies will also call and verify past employment.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me of a company that will take me and a teammate? I have a very unstable work history as I have my CDL I worked one place for a year and a half and after that I refused to work for companies that lied to me and we'll now my job history is very unstable need to know my options for a company that will take me and give me a chance so I can stay put and clean up my job history

I spent 19 years in Africa running banks. Then retired. Then went to prison. Then went to driving school on parole. Would have be hard to verify. Got a new phone line in Bogus Company name. Even a fax line. Filled out the forms to verify my employment and got my first job in trucking. Most of the companies do not have Sherlock Holmes as an investigator in their HR department.

And if a company wants to fire you, they do not have to have a reason. If Bogus Company goes out of business right after you left, that works also.

You were an airline pilot, ran banks in Africa for almost two decades, did time, then became a trucker. That's quite an interesting life.

Clean driving record and criminal history are what's important.
Work history is something you list but is not that important. Employers just are required that you list what u did the last ten years.

TransAm is ok as long as you stay a company driver. Lease drivers stay in hole unless they train. I would tell people in oreintation to go company but the lease guys start telling lies about what they make.
Do 6 months and go to decent company.

Could a solo truck driver at TransAm remain a company driver for any extended period of time, if he or she chose to do remain at TransAm, as a company driver?
