I need some (very) minor body work done and a paint job. What will that cost me? See avatar for truck.
I took the cab extenders off, so I need to file the screw inserts down and fill them and the fenders are in need of some repair. Other than that, the body is in fairly decent shape. Though, I can't seem to get the hood aligned properly....

If you have some ultra fine wet sand paper you can go over it with a soap bottle you get from home and fill it with clean water to keep a stream of water pointed at sand paper washing away any trash that getting sanded off top of clear coat?

if your talking about this picture

its already fixed. it was caused by piling the base on to heavy to fast and to sand it down and patch it in. getting in a hurry cost me about 4 extra hours

after picture of the same spot

other than that there is a little dust in the paint nothing that wont buff right off after the paint is cured.

Do you have any sort of exhaust fan or anything running while you paint? I've painted a few times in our 75*100 shop and it always gets so hazy and the fumes are terrible. How do you do it in that shop? I painted my sleeper in a makeshift tent and by the time I was done I couldn't see or breathe.

Truck looks awesome by the way!!!

i use box fans to direct and move the air out. it gets a little hazy spraying clears, colors and primers not so bad. clears out within a few mins of spraying ill normally put furnace filters over the box fans as well to help catch the particulate.

you don't want to spray automotive paints without at a min a good organic vapor respirator.
