You can get one at like a UPS store and set up a forwarding to your home for an extra charge. Saves having to stop and check it. Put this in the google maps search bar and see if it is close to what you might need.

I think everyone should refrain from mixing heathcare policy and debate in the thread. It would make a good thread of its own that maybe we can take up at a later date and concentrate on SP and his family in this one.

There's no problem that I can see about posting a P.O. box mailing address.

    Have at it!

Be a #### shame they kick him out and something happens to him. The lawsuit could cost them millions. Maybe a gentle reminder of that fact would change their minds.

What does his old doc that got him back on dialysis say? If they send him home, will he still be doing the dialysis? They are definitely between a rock and a hard spot. This has to be weighing very heavily on Mrs SP. The place she works for has no compassion for her or SP. I wonder how she even finds the strength to go to work for them each day.

I don't even want to start on our health care. I'm going through a similar thing.
    You work your whole life...:biggrin_25510:

I hope sp with be okay. Maybe with regular dialysis he'll be okay. If he has Medicaid, that should cover it. I think you have to have it done like three times a week. There are walkin dialysis clinics. Not a ride in the park, but it will keep him going. Tennessee is one of four states that has free dialysis if it come down to it. He could move up here?

Thanks dino for your efforts. I know that means alot to sp and wife.

OK, let me see if I understand this correctly:

    1) The HOSPITAL says he is not sick ENOUGH to be in the hospital.

    2) The HOSPITAL says he should go home.

    3) Someone says he IS TOO SICK to be in assisted living. Who has determined this?

So if I read this right, he is too sick to be in assisted living, but he is not too sick to go home? I'm sorry, but that just does not make any sense.

HAS SHE SPOKEN WITH A PATIENT ADVOCATE?
