Sometimes you don’t have a choice. Half of the communities in Indiana are so restrictive on trucks (even with road construction)it isn’t even funny anymore!
In my world, you always have a choice. Last and least attractive, pull the knobs, call the police. They'll get you out every time.
That option is 50/50. It might work but at the same time if you’re blocking/obstructing traffic you could get cited for it.
No doubt. There are signs all along SR2 saying northbound 35 is CLOSED to trucks, and what the detour is. Don't know which way he came in, though....
Lots better than tearing down a stop light. Impeding traffic. No big deal and you probably won't get a ticket
100% you tear down a traffic light. 100% you get a ticket for tearing down a traffic light. Plus you get to pay for the traffic light. 50% you get a ticket for impending traffic. How do you like the odds?
In my case I’d make those odds 0%. I’d find another legal route and avoid that area. But that’s just me.
I used to pull 53 and 55 foot trailers with the axles right on the back of the trailers, and there was lots of times I needed to make a right and instead had to do three lefts, sometimes you have to go left to go right. lol
i agree with you on the ticket, but....it would still be much better than taking down half the intersection lights, park benches, baby strollers, and the occasional "drunken Fred".....
