I know you said it varies across the country and I am telling u I don't care where u live walmarts insurance will never be better then the teamsters insurance. We each have a 200 deductible and 1000 out of pocket a year at no cost to me even if I had 10 kids.

With the money walmart makes they should offer better insurance, in my opinion.

I don't care where u live the insurance will not beat teamsters insurance, plane and simple. We each have a 200 deductible with 1000 out of pocket max each year. Top notch pharmacy insurance and dental.

With the money walmart makes they should provide better insurance, in my opinion.

With the money your union makes from your dues , why isn't your insurance free?

I'm going to guess over 50% of the drivers where I work( including myself) have been in a union in the past. The ones I talk to have no desire to go back.

And this will be my last reply to you as you seem to only want to post negatives about a company you don't work for.

To each their own. But in my opinion, unions have outlived their usefulness. Back in the day when workers were being mistreated, they did a lot of good. And all of us benefit from what they did BACK THEN.

But now, they're mostly political instruments that hold companies hostage and in many cases cost their members their jobs while the leadership gets rich.

One can look to Hostess, the city of Detroit, and the American automotive industry in general, for recent examples. They have been very good for the southern states, to the detriment of states like Michigan, though because many carmakers have built plants in the traditionally non-union states in the south.

It's a personal decision whether to join a union or not. I personally will never do so because I don't think that they're good for our country or our economy.

    But that's just my opinion.

Well I kinda like the union. I like the rules are set and seniority rules. You can't just kiss ### and get a better run. I like that I know what I will make for 5 years and what to expect for insurance, work rules, etc. For 5 years. If it was not for the union alot of drivers would not make what they do now. Just my opinion
