well, i have a noob question for the pro's. what talents/skills except driving skills will make a good trucker ? I will start mcfatter cdl school soon and i really wanna hear a pro opinion regarding this. thank you
Being able to take advice form the pro's Never arguing with the pro's Map reading as you cannot always depend on any stinking GPS Good penmanship for when you need to write things for others to read. Good manners A low tone of voice, rather than a shouting one Some but NOT ALL knowledge of mechanical things, so you can converse intelligently with the mechanics when you have a break down. Good grooming habits. Ability to read, write and comprehend the ENGLISH language. Desire to get the job done, even if it means you have to sacrifice your personal time off. (in other words, if your company tells you that YOU NEED to be in California THIS WEEKEND, JUST DO IT, you will always have other weekends, so don't put up a hissy fit). You take the good with the bad, and suck it up.
