Former Arrow Trucking CEO arrested in Dallas, former employee takes plea deal

James Douglas Pielsticker was arrested on a hold for the FBI Thursday

    TULSA —
The former CEO of a trucking firm that suddenly shut down three days before Christmas in 2009, leaving drivers stranded across the country, has been arrested in Dallas.
Jail records for Dallas County early Friday showed James Douglas Pielsticker, 48, who goes by Doug, was arrest on a hold for the FBI.
It does not indicate what charges he faces.
However, KRMG has learned that a former Arrow executive, Jonathan Leland Moore, has accepted a plea deal in which he pleaded guilty to counts of tax and bank fraud charges.
Court records indicate Moore, who was Chief Financial Officer for Arrow, admitted defrauding the IRS as well as Transportation Alliance Bank (TAB).
The plea agreement, reached in October, indicates that Pielsticker and his company conspired to obtain some $24 million fraudulently.
It's believed that the plea from Moore gave federal authorities the ammunition they needed to pursue a prosecution of Pielsticker.
Though he was sued by creditors and former employees, Pielsticker has never been criminally charged in connection with Arrow's sudden collapse.
Drivers for the company were stranded without pay, money for fuel, or any way to get home just days before Christmas.
Pielsticker is scheduled for an arraignment Friday, at which point it's likely federal prosecutors will move to have him extradicted to Oklahoma

On a side note...I can't sit here and feel sorry for the "Bank".
Banks, and corporate entities (Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, etc...) have been screwing us all for decades.
