The balance of the factory warranty but you can buy a service contract to cover the internal engine only. The service contract is through National Truck Protection and its not worth the paper its written on. Frank
They could have gotten the extra warranty when they got the the truck so it depends on what they paid for. I had a used truck with Detroit Diesels engine warranty for Parts and Labor for 48 months or 600,000 miles. That was a good warranty they did crazy engine work for free. The bad part was the downtime. One time it took Detroit Diesel 3 days to figure out how to fix the engine then the shop took like 5 days to do all the work. Detroit did cover all parts and labor. The labor was the extra warranty most trucks don't have and the 600,000 miles.
