I started with 6 other people...and they ALLLLL from michigan...don't know what's planned for wed...but how long you expect to be around wed?...and the other students all took 2-4 week schools...maybe one took a 2 months course...so i feel more confident...i also feel as if they expect more from me...and little pressured too...but...tomorrow i'll be driving some...so all my skills a come back...i mentioned ya name to Vern too...he said you was doing good...

i have to make a delivery in Troy NY wed morning, so i should be back like early afternoon. i hope, they are calling for really crappy weather that day..
hopefully ill get a chance to meet you while were both there.
Sayreville gets tons of students from MI. all the time. sayreville is the closest place for training...
dont ever feel pressured... just give it your all, and remember, its not a compitiion out here. theirs no perfect truckers out here. always just take your time with everything.
just do me a fav, and dont make me or ASC look bad :biggrin_25512:

Today we did some driving...did some alley docking...and some front and back serpentines...i did good on the alley docking and serpentines...but driving...:biggrin_25512:...that 17,000 lbs trailer ASC had...was nothing...we had a 45,000 lbs trailer of cement...and i'm so use to driving the ASC trucks...so i'm use to how they ride and handle...i kept letting go of the clutch to fast and the truck stalled out a few times...i guess it had something to do with the weight because Vern said..."You never drove wit this much weight before did you?"...i'm like "Only 17,000 lbs"...but he said i'll get it...only problem i had was tryin to shift wit the that much weight messing with the RPM's...but it was my first time driving the truck today...so i'm sure i'll do better tomorrow...

Wait for the downhill training with that much weight... :) I assume they have somewhere in Sayerville that they do that. In Missoula, they take you to Helena where there's an 8% grade and let you try that out with the truck at about 78K. Once you do it, it's no big deal, but don't tell W/S that it's impossible to downshift downhill. :biggrin_25525:

Maybe he will...but it's going to be hard to find out...I don't think your husband will be saying..."Who was my wife talking too online?"...at the company terminal...lol...but towards the end of the week I should be getting my truck or getting plans on getting my truck...and not going back home...but this company is a great company...they are here to make careers for people and in return get drivers...not once did I feel as if "I need to do this right the first time or i'm going home"...I didn't have that feeling...

    mamadog93 Thanks this.

Yea man...good meetin you too...again...yea everybody seems to be taking it serious and wanting to do well...I think i'll learn the most though on my first thru three trips...because when you driving with a trainer...you really don't drive how "you want too"...because you don't wanna hear nobody mouth and scared to mess up...but when you on your own...you'll try different things...to see what works best for you...
