Welp, I broke down and gave it my best shot last week... O/OP rant

    So here's the thing, really...

    In order to be an Owner Operator these days, you have to be a truck driver, a heavy duty truck mechanic with a very good knowledge of modern diesel emission systems, an accountant, an economist who can predict the future at least 2 years out, have an unlimited supply of credit, an attorney to threaten to sue when customers renege on contracts, and have the patience to be nice while losing money.

    Oh, and bring $20,000 to the table to play the game.

    Just bought an $800 engine sensor harness from the dealer, cause my issue is still ongoing, I'll change it out myself. I'm not paying 1200$ to Freightliner for labor, when they wouldn't help me weeks ago because my code wasn't active. Last piece of the puzzle.


    And, everybody on page one of this thread said it's the harness.

    So, everybody on page one of this thread give yourselves a clap on the back, your a better mechanic than anyone at a Freightliner/ Detroit Diesel dealership.
