You're new so that's understandable what I'm saying is you need to manage your time better.A couple violations won't get you in trouble with your company but they do keep track of your log record so be careful is all im saying.

That would cost me $150 of my $300 quarterly log bonus ($75/month, plus $75 per quarter for zero log errors, paid quarterly). My company wouldn't say a word about it, unless it kept happening. Daily. For a year or so. Then they might say something. Probably something to the effect of "Hey, you might want to stop doing that..."

The time you went over will be subtracted from the next days hours.

The log Dept would rather you let them know about it now rather than to find out about in a audit.

You are going to have to park where it's legal to do so, sometimes being alone. It is the nature of the beast as it were to stand on your own two feet and rest easy being alone a while. Sometimes it is better to be on a mountaintop in solitude than to say be in Wolcott with 2000 other people coming and going. I like wolcott Iowa very much, but I also value my quiet time.

Where are we all going to park? Can someone answer me that? On the shoulder? Call a wrecker to haul you off to your safe space? Have any of you anti paper logs folks ever given this any serious thought to this FACT? Get held up at a shipper and have to leave the property due to lack of parking or no trucks allowed on said property other than for loading and or unloading? I have been there, OTR, I must have drove 200 miles, hit multiple truck stops and rest areas only to find NOTHING! And trust me, I am a creative parker. BUT, I will not park on a shoulder or a get off and on ramp. So, what is the answer? Just refuse the loads? Why the H E L L am I even out here then?

Once you start your clock you have 14 hours to work. You can not go over 14 hours and you can not drive more than 11 hours within that 14 hours.

To the OP.... let the office know, apologize and try not to do it again. You will be okay.
