Had to go to Brooklyn the other day in the 4 wheeler, the only place I had to stop was at a redlight when I got off 278... went down Rt 17, crossed the GWB (at normal speed) down the Deegan and RFK bridge to 278...smooth sailing all the way, very bizarre...

The amount of traffic resembles coming into work at 3 am when the bar traffic is gone and the early birds haven't started.

I drive up Route one from Trenton to South Brunswick, normally in three lanes of lockstep traffic and NEVER passing through Princeton without catching at least ONE of the 6 stoplights there...

Past two weeks I have only caught two lights for the whole trip

Driving to work, cruise set to 75, and never touching the brake.

It is gonna really stink when this is over.

Around the office, it appears every warehouse is open and getting freight off the port is considered essential but some of the 'normal' activities, dodging the re-painted school buses and vans full of temporary 'day' workers has vanished. One security guard, commenting on their half empty parking lot said all part time and day workers are gone. just the core employees are working.

The tidal wave of traffic, once things return to some form of normalcy, is going to be a mess.
