    I'd do it again in a second. All but buy a 1.2 million mile Freightliner.

    Probably actually the smartest thing I did but I sure look forward to getting something nicer. It has been a good old girl. Plenty of guys try to start out too nice and end up broke so ya when I think of that I maybe would even buy my old Freightliner again.

    No doubt I was that guy many times over the years,sorry guys!! But learned that while your on that cheap load a good one will probably show up , so started thinking my time and work was worth more !! Believe me divine intervention has kept me out of the poorhouse I take no credit!! But please don’t sell your self short! Find your niche and work it hard, you’ve got to have customers load boards will do nothing but break you busy work at best.
    Yes I would definitely do it all over again, I love what I do and no matter how many trucks I’ve ran Ive always drove one of them.

    Too much personal and family stress. There’s no stability. You’re at the mercy of the market, and the truck. Truck maintenance and repair have been killing me. You have to be your own mechanic for most things which wears a guy down fast. I’m either in the truck or under it every day. You can have steady customers, and one day they’re not calling for loads anymore. At least while working for someone else if the work dries up you can get unemployment. Right now I’m working as an O/O, and have a part time job with the state just to get through the winter. Life was somewhat miserable working at my last job before the O/O thing, but at least I knew I was getting a pay check every other week.
