What are some options to purchasing a Semi

    I have been driving for 5 years. The first couple......I didn't know squat about this business. Still don't know much. But.......I do know that you are heading in the wrong direction right out of the gate. Get your CDL however you please, then go to work for a Company that is in the trucking sector that interests you most. There is lots more to this industry than "buy a truck, haul freight, get rich". Over 90% of new drivers wash out in the first 3 months anyways. Don't become a statistic. Good luck

    Call local lumber or steel mills. Ask if they use O/O drivers. Many of the bigger ones have loads on load boards but also take on an O/O.

    Call and get insurance quotes before you do anything, don’t lease

    after the insurance company is done laughing at you, unless you have a lot of money from another business venture you want to write off, spend a couple years in someone else’s truck,
