What are the safest and most dangerous truckstops??

24/7 in Bakersfield, The lot lizzy's run the truckstop. That would be bad if they weren't so butt ugly.

 

I've a good business idea how about a few of us clever rich drivers get together and make or build a decent truck stop ? 1 in every capital city is there a limit to how many truck stops fuel stations they'll allow i suppose you'd have to talk with the local council.

LMAO...never thought I'd hear anything about my hometown, Talllapoosa, GA Exit 5 I-20, on here...BTW, it is under relatively new management. Clarence Newborn bought it from Lamar Noble. I dont know about the fuel syphoning...but the food is great...I eat there all the time. Yeah, I'm not a trucker....but will be soon. Im learning alot by reading these posts.

Haven't read through all of the pages so apologies if I repeat anything.

The Kleins EZ Trip in Fresno, CA. One of the worst I ever stopped at. Though, I stopped there several times. Always had space to park, even in the middle of the night... Probably because of how crappy it is . Anyway, the bathroom was always nasty. (Though the Adjacent AM/PM has decent bathrooms). Always made sure my doors were locked, and avoided walking the lot at night. Got a kick out of the fly-by-night DOT Medical exam practitioner that operates out of an RV in the corner of the lot.

My favorite stop is Gordy's in La Pine, OR. Great scenery, quiet, and the Diner has good food. Clean parking lot, and absolutely no lot lizards/transients trying to get a buck from you.
