iam plenty of times in TA Ontario i think is the westside (when you come from the i-.10 and pass the bridges is on the left side).never have a problem here is very safety place for me,(iam here from yesterday)
The only truck stop in Orlando is a dump, a dirt lot with a small building full of rude people. And they charge you $11 a night for making your truck look like you just drove through the everglades.
I was thinking of staying over there but had second thoughts and drove on. I didn't want to wake up dead ,or have grafitti sprayed all over my trailer. The homeless shelter is a block away, and also the county jail.
The Jubitz in Portland, Oregon is great, the Pilot in Central Point/Medford is good because you have several dining options, one being Shari's, try the stuffed hash browns and you also get a piece of pie (great pie too) at no charge. Little America in Wyoming is always a good place to stop, Sacramento 49er is ok, the San Diego Pilot (Otay Mesa) is always clean, lots of parking too. The Rebel out in Washington, southern I-5 is pretty decent, Massachuttes Pilot (there's only one isn't bad because there is a good Restaraunt next door, Irving just north of Portland Maine is a decent little stop, good Italian food in there.
Last time I stopped at the mass pilot no food, except the roller grill. Restaurant was closed. Otay mesa clean?
Almost all truckstops are getting bad. If it isn't panhandlers, shady salesmen, or lizards, it is trashy drivers that are to lazy to throw their trash away right. Lots full of trash and smelling like a filthy urinal. And the rude slow people working there.....all the good restaraunts being replaced by another fast food joint. The whole truckstop industry really seems to be taking a wrong turn. Probably a direct correlation to the wrong turn the trucking industry is taking as well.
The restaurant next door was closed? Like for the day or ever? And every time I've been at the Otay Mesa Pilot its been clean and the parking lot has been clean as well.
