At the moment, there are more and more trucking specific apps and programs coming out every day. Many of them are just duplicating the work of others. Some work well, some barely work at all, and everywhere in between. Since most of my business is back and forth across the US-Canadian border I spend a lot of time and money on the truck stop fax machines that charge as much as $3 a page to send paperwork to customs brokers. I would actually like a decent functioning fax application for mobile phones that doesn't cost a fortune to use.
What are you biggest problems you wish someone would solve?

And that concludes our special on how to skin an ape.glitterglue and G.Anthony Thank this.

Ok, so I'll get a scanner. Which means I'll also have to get a laptop. Which means to send stuff I'll have to tether to my smartphone and use up data. Or it could be done with an app. If it works properly, which of those two choices do you think the average driver would prefer?

Isn't that literally any strip club on the road? Most always advertise them steaks for cheap, parking is plentiful and hot women are abound. I'm pretty sure you can get beer at em too!

Your picture of hot women must be slightly different than mine..or my strip club experience..doesnt measure up.

You're doing cross border work. You should have a scanner and notebook computer anyway. And a pretty hefty data plan. You'd have to use data to fax from your phone after you took a crappy picture of your document anyway.
When I was OTR, I had a Verizon Jetpack, a Neat portable scanner, and a Toshiba laptop. I also had a Brother printer in the truck, to print my Eclipse log pages.icsheeple Thanks this. -
Truckstop that actually has working Internet once you pay for it!
A way to watch television on my laptop. Oh wait, that will require Internet. Dish setup is to expensive for initial cost.
5 gal water jug exchange at truckstops. Or a water holding tank that fits a side compartment with a 12v pump and line to wash my coffee mugs, utensils, make coffee and drink. So has to be a clean system with filtration.
