Did you have any problem with spam, junk mail, etc. after signing up? Firefox says they are not a trusted site and they are asking for a lot of information that can only be used for sending you stuff.

    For Canadian weather.

    Google: Environment Canada Mobile
Save it to your home screen.

Not exactly an "app" but a very useful tool.

I only drive my Ram Pickup and tug an 18' Gooseneck local.

But I can't begin to tell you how my android phone has saved my arse! Mapping is KING!
I have a way old Garmin that can't find MANY of the places I'm sent. It however has the ability to keep time. All time. Time stopped. Moving time.

If I was still out there on the big road you can bet several of the apps talked about here would be on my phone!

i use dat truckstop. it's free. i also use droidtruckers stop. also free. that one gives me the scales and portables, and major chains and rest areas.

dattruckstop gives me all truckstops. rest areas. walmarts. scales and truckwashes.

    why pay for allstays???

as for coopsopen. it's not a junk app nor does it load you with spam. it's a simple app just like anything else.
the problem with the app though. is that drivers feel the need to play games with it. and falsely report the status of scales.

i've seen scales that are never open. being reported as open. and i've seen scales that are never closed. being reported as closed. the last time i used the app. it reported the northbound scale open when it was closed. and the southbound scale closed when it was open.

i don't even bother with it anymore. 80% of the time it's wrong.

WAYYYYYYYYYYYY too much bloat crap. 90% of that app no one will ever use.

unless your an o/o. you won't care about ifta permits. fuel stop and routing. sales and service. magazines. cargo insurance. and most of the other stuff.

as for the rest of the stuff. that everyone will use. dattruckstop is just perfect. cuz that's all it contains. the basic stuff that everyone wants.

    i uninstalled it.

If you like to get out and explore while parked for the weekend try the app History Here. I find it kinda neat and free.

And how about "trip pak mobile" if your company uses tripac like ours does. Free also

Another one I like because pulling oversize loads is " Sunset Sunrise" helps me plan when to be off the road. Especially if your afraid of the dark.
