I’m thinking of getting a legacy sleeper semi. I was wondering about the turn radius.. in other words how difficult is it to maneuver compared to a normal bob tail.. I keep picturing getting stuck in situations especially tight docks. I’m very fascinated with the legacy sleeper
Having never run a big house truck I do have one observation. Folks that don't have them make excuses on why they are bad (to big, to heavy, etc.) Folks that do have them wouldn't go back to a smaller truck even with the disadvantages.
No problem, but if you’re doing lots of stops in big east coast cities it could be a problem. You just learn to make turns different.
Job i worked for picked one up for a team on a dedicated route, one had to go under the knife so because i was friends with the guy they stuck me with him for a couple weeks. Their nice as hell but have some serious drawbacks that offset the advantages, most of which are obvious. Some less so. That said if i had a nice dedicated route i would love one, but i prefer my smaller sleeper as a money maker because it has a ton of advantages over those commercial RVs that are hard to offset.
I'd be happy with just a cartridge type potty for us to pee in. A sink to wash up in might be nice, too, but a full shower would be a lot of space.
