Check Craigslist. Fb marketplace 30k can get you a nice older truck. Always going to need tlc or minor repair. Some folks sure love to scare people away
30k will get you a truck with a motor and wheels. Now the downside is they are all going to be junk and it will require around 50k just to get it roadworthy at a minimum. It may be able to MOVE under its own power but its going to be ratted out. Honestly you need around 100k to get into this market anymore and id advise against it unless you can pay cash for a truck and trailer with the current conditions. And even then only if you have 50k in reserve.
Im in hinton ok and fuel jumped 35 cents overnight here as well to $4.84 guy in the tire shop was saying they are expecting $5 by monday.
Sometimes you just gotta be vigilant, and not rush it. Over a month of searching, I found 3 trucks I'd run. One was under 20k, one 40k, and the one I bought at 34k. Not quite ratted out IMO, and both the others were very nice.
This is proof you can find decent trucks. That Columbia you posted probably get for 14k. An rebuild that c13 for 15k Have you a 30k truck that's good on fuel. Easy on parts being a Freightliner
i have. a C13 without Rebuild 1624000 miles y still running good ,Cat give me a Offer 40k for a Rebuild with turbo y 4 years warranty.IS a Moneymaker
Yeah, you may not be riding in luxury, but you're making just as much as that fancy 200k truck. You gotta be willing
If you have good credit.. and then you can look fwd to payments and 8 or 9 dollar a gallon fuel JMO but with the way things are right now that's the last thing I would want to be strapped too is payments.. but that's just me
