OK, you have had a bunch of folks make fun of you here. But believe it or not, I understand where you are coming from. When I first went to work for DATS I inherited a 99 KW that had soda pop spilled on the rubber floor mats. In fact, I'd be willing to be it had happened many times, over many years, and never been cleaned.

When that crap sits for a few years in the desert heat, it really CAN be #### near impossible to get out. I tried soap and water, I tried vinegar and soap and water, I tried simple green. I finally settled for using Resolve spray rug cleaner on it.

I used the whole can, let it sit there over night, then in the morning took a scrub brush to it. After that, took it into the company truck wash and washed it out. That pretty much got it out.

Then I used the steam wash on it, which I had not thought about before, and that took the rest of it out.

But that stuff was wicked. It was embedded down into the rubber, and into all the little spaces around it. And it was hard as a rock.

You only have one option here. Leave the sheets on the bunk and just burn the tractor to the ground. It's the ONLY way to get rid of bed bugs. Or so they tell me. . .:biggrin_25525:

FLATBED, the name is DOn not DAn.:biggrin_25525: And I am quite aware of that. Hell, I've poked a bit of fun at him myself.:biggrin_25523:

But I've also had a hell of a time getting old soda pop off the rubber floor covers.

Guess you're the medical mystery guy that all the doctors were puzzled about? The one with the orange pecker?

LMAO. I don't guess it really matters if it falls off if he's gonna pull it off anyway.

..but having a bright orange thingy is normal for you?

One of my friends uses a Swiffer sweeper on the rubber floors in her truck.

rubber floors are just not inviting tho---clean it--then carpet it--even if you have a factory carpet-- get a new cut to fit for over top---keeps it warmer---keeps it cooler--and you dont have anybody complaining that the truck carpet needs cleaning when you leave
and honestely i havnt done the cheezy thing--but i do know the danger of spilling a jar of jalapenos when you are wearing sweats---gives a new meaning to great balls of fire
