All we got was a text blast from the company yesterday. Put a smile on my face.

    "Attn: Driver Appreciation Week

We would like to thank all of our drivers for their hard work and dedication that each one of you puts in everyday. However, for the whole industry to recognize only this week as a driver appreciation week is wrong! Without you all - there would be no food, clothes, electronics, hardware, cars and much more. It is an understatment to say the least and we would like to thank you all for your 365 days of excellent contribution to this company and last but not least - to the millions of people out there in this world. Keep up the excellent work everyone and god bless you all."

One not cold water bottle from qvc.
    Only thing ever.

This one really hot woman gave me a fresca & Sunkist at the little Iguana family warehouse. That wasn't driver appreciation week.
Quite a few girls at flying j have said don't worry I'll get it over the years drinks & soups.

Never received anything from guys. Guys are greedy numbnuts.

A bland breakfast burrito, some juice, and a thank you. Good Times.

food poisoning from a yet undetermined truck stop. After I rehydrated etc. they let me drive with a empty from Orlando to Charlotte getting paid all miles. I still feel like total trash and will be back in bed soon.

I I'm sorry to hear you all got a box of coal :) I was lucky enough to have received a 25 dollar gas card. Made my day!

I asked for a free shower tonight at the pilot because I was out of credits. She seemed hesitant and I asked if it was still driver appreciation week. She smiled and gave me my free shower.

Big all day cookouts at our 24 hr. barns, or breakfast the next day at the dark terminals. The good stuff too, not cheap burgers and dogs. I got a meal in St. Louis, a snack for the ride home back at Indy, and breakfast in Detroit the next morning. I just lined up at the trough like I belonged there, and no one questioned me about it.

    icsheeple Thanks this.
