    Of course! A text blast costs the company a hell of a lot less than actually giving a driver something tangible. OTOH, it beats the hell out of getting a text saying "Turn in your truck, you ain't workin' here no more!":biggrin_2551:

    I got what I expected.......not a thing!...
    I figured the Petro I usually stop at would be doing something but business as usual..
    None of the shippers or receivers mentioned it at all......oh well,just another week in the trucking business.

    A guy in a sedan was driving next to me, turned on his interior lights and was strocking his dick for next couple of miles, so I could see everything, guess that was his gift to me for the driver appreciation week

    .... Or to go to a truck stop to get fuel and find the card doesn't work, nobody answering the phones, or gates locked at the terminals.

    The gate guard at one of the shippers I was picking up from gave me a small bag with some assorted candy in it.
