My charming good looks and sarcastic personality.

A quit wit doesn't hurt either.

I've never done over the road I've worked in the oilfield for my driving career as you can imagine it can get pretty confrontational sometimes I've had a lot of cuss fights with lots of drivers and civilians just carry your self like a man and don't take no #### especially at truck stops and fuel stations there will be a ### whole at some point who starts #### with you it's inevitable . I keep a tire thumper in my sleeper but do not intend to use it on a person unless I had to.

I was talking to a guy a few weeks ago said he woke up to banging on his door. Went up front to see who it was and a thug was pointing a gun at him through the door. Cleaned him out. Apparently shook him up pretty good too. Point is it can happen to any one of us. He wasn't anyone you'd particularly want to mess with. He was parked at a receiver for an early am delivery.

Just out of curiosity, what makes you think that will have any effect on a human?

Just because the rumor has gone around the internet that it's a good self defense choice, doesn't mean it is. They make pepper spray, we know that it is effective, why carry something that you have no idea what it will do?
It's not about living life afraid, it's about being prepared. Most people will never need to use a weapon in self defense. That's a good thing. But if you ever do need one, it's too late to start thinking about getting one. It's like a seatbelt. I don't use one because I'm planning on getting in an accident, I will probably never benefit from using it. But if I ever need it, it will be to late to decide to put it on.
