I don't know, I think I'd feel more miserable with a gunshot wound.

Been out here over 10 years. Most trouble you have comes from CB rambos. Stay off cb and its 90% safer.

In the above scenario, my biggest concern would be the condition of the guy with the gun. Very good chance that he is higher than a kite, but on what? Regardless of what anyone says here, your chances of using a knife on a guy who is on PCP and has a gun, aren't wonderful. Or rather, the chances of you SURVIVING the situation aren't wonderful. Even if you stick the guy in a vital place, folks on PCP have been known to continue doing what they were doing, even after they are already "dead." They just don't know they are dead.
And there is no way I'd want to be inside a truck or sleeper with somebody shooting at it.
    Get real.

I got a Remington R1 1911 under my pillow at night. Most states don't have a duty to report to officer, so I don't. Those that don't honor Indiana's license (like NY and CT), I follow their rules of transport of firearms when I'm driving. And usually when I'm driving I'm untouchable anyways, like Schwarzenegger in that one Terminator movie. But when parked, I sleep with it.

The only problem I had with firearm was in Red River Army depot in Texarkana, TX. I reported it and they couldn't (obviously) let me in with it on board. They have lockers for truckers to stash their knives, ugly wives and guns, but that day the lockers were getting worked on so I was out of luck. Had to turn away, rent a hotel room and leave the gun in there under a bed, then I was allowed to enter the facility. This was all done in a professional manner with no ifs and buts.

    Is PCP still around?
But you are correct in the abilities of someone hopped up on that drug.
    Scary.
One little tweak to it and it might be 'Dawn of the Dead' for real.

Someone said that a bullet would not bounce off glass.
Sure it will, unless the angle is just right.
Glass may be brittle as a solid, but it also has the property of being a liquid.
Bullets bounce right off water as well, if the angle is right.

Glass is not a true solid material like stone. It is a fluid that flows very, very slowly.
It bends and flexes, and can deflect even the force of a bullet.

Yes! What if the next person he pulls the knife on he stabs and kills and it happens to be your wife, daughter, son or family member.
