You "can" get that Pete/KW cabover, but I think top rating is only 260/800

I'd be willing to sacrifice power for cool factor lol. But I was actually looking at the new peterbilt 220s (the new European crackerbox) and I almost debated that, but they don't offer a manual trans or an extended cab for a small bunk. I honestly would be willing to try it if they had the sleeper version of it here in the us.

    KANSAS TRANSIT Thanks this.

6 more feet on mine would for sure require at least one more axle.

But yea that would be awesome!

    couple. Matt has a cabover.

When I bought a flatbed straight truck, specs were 24’ body, live tandem, 475 cat, 13 speed, Pete low air leaf, Pintle hook w air n electric for a tagalong, Spyder hookup, air ride cab. No bunk.

Yep I brought mine home as is at 25.5 feet tandem axle. I love it but man it is not the correct truck for me if I stay at this. 32k max and 26' limits me a lot.

Thats bad ###! I take it you guys ran local since you didnt have a bunk? Im shooting for regional expedited flatbed loads. Basically same deal as hot shot but on heavier terms. What type of loads are you mostly running. Im worried about the length limits as well and thats why im shooting to get the longest bed possible. so far 28' is the most i can wiggle onto a conventional.
