How much of a difference is it to haul that kind of weight with a tri axle vs non tri axle? In the video I posted they were using a single truck without tri axle to haul the D11. I know in my state of North Carolina, people usetri axlefor even a lot smaller bulldozers.

They're not really hauling, more or less just pushing/pulling the trailer. The box pinned to the 5th wheel is full of concrete for weight on the drive axles.Bobby NC and God prefers Diesels Thank this.

Everyone knows the only way to make money with a truck is to run a 2.something useless gear ratio and a direct drive transmission

Can you feel the difference any between a tri axle truck or non? I've never even been in a tri axle truck in my life.

They bind up a little more in the turns but it’s not that different. And the wheelbase will be longer……
