Except lawyers want a profit. So they are going to go for that 400k payout. When he really only needs 40k. As an example. Look at all the ads. "So and so got me 584k. Thanks so and so."

There are TWO entities that you NEVER deal with......WITHOUT A LAWYER! Insurance Companies/Adjusters.........and......ANOTHER LAWYER. Period......end of story. BTW......What is wrong with a Lawyer, Bakery Owner, Doctor, Barber Shop, etc. " Making a profit". That is the whole point of running a business isn't it??

since you most likely had to provide Schneider with a DMV report, now you will most likely have to get a copy of this new accident from the police dept.

you may also have to have a doctors release as well. they may not take your word for it, that there was minimal injuries. they may not want to chance you working for them, hurt, then they become responsible for your care.

i'd say, stay home, notify the company, that you will have to go to orientation at a later time.

in the meantime, secure a lawyer for this accident, have him/her hurry up the process for a claim. most likely too, the lawyer will make you go to a doctor and maybe physical therapy.

all which will most likely have to be proven to Schneider.

i was "pre--approved" for Schneider when i was first out of CDL school but needed a hernia operation. when i contacted them that i was able to go to orientation, they wanted all sorts of crap as proof, i was good to go...

i told them to screw off, and got a better job.

That wasn't Schneider.......it was INSURANCE COMPANIES AND LAWYERS! Those two professions "rule the world" so to speak. Not right.......but it is reality!

Schneider also wanted a full back x-ray, now that, they wanted before it was found, that i needed the hernia operation.

could care less, if it was the insurance company or Schneider themselves, i got a better job. never looked back, never cared for that company, and THAT was at a time when Schneider AND JB Hunt ruled........

and when Werner Enterprises DEMANDED 5 years driving experience, and Munson was around.

back in "those days", trucker school grads did not have too many choices, and long haul is what you HAD to do to get started.

i lucked out, the better job i got..??

i was home weekly, parked the truck on company property, and not have to search for a "secured" place that Schneider demanded, and would NOT reimburse for....

screw them, now and forever, and i been retired for a while now.....

Congratulations! I was just trying to point out how "The real world" is. Not a pretty picture......but......it is the world we live in. It took generations to get where we are.... and it won't change overnight. If you value your freedom.... You need to VOTE in the mid terms. THINK OF YOUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN. We are running out of time.

Buddy.....I am not discrediting your 48 years of driving. Again Congratulations....I am pointing out that a lot of $#it has changed in our lifetime! We are close to the same age/generation. Lighten up on me partner. I think we are on the same page!

    almost doesn't sound like it.

but, if todays CDL students cry enough, and stomp thier feet, they get an easy-peasy job, rather than "pay thier dues"

it's the new way, of the entitled.

    and in the end..??

how many will go to 48 years..????

    bryan21384 Thanks this.
