Make a remark on your electronic log anytime that you are forced to drive over hours due to accident that closed the road or to find safe haven to park at. The extra time must be logged and make sure you take at least a 10 hour break. You could be still be subject to disciplinary action from DOT or company but you will NOT have a falsification of log against you.

I know one thing, my logs haven't been checked in over a year by DOT. Which is weird since they are 100% legit. If I did cheat then they would be pulling me over daily I bet.

Note to safety department the next day. And on qualcom. Kicked off receiver property when out of hours. Rolling to safe haven to park and take 10 hour reset.
Some qualcoms also have an off duty driving line.
