i was parked at the hook in Vegas, and had what i THOUGHT was old used ties going to Helena Mt.
next morning during my pre-trip discovered my lock( lock all loads ) and seal were busted the door open just a bit... opened the door and discovered i had brand new wheels and tires for p/u trucks, sports cars, and 4-wheelers. half of the back stack was missing.....

also had my electrical line from the truck to trl stolen...
i was at chrurch n dwite in fostoria oh, parked on their dirt lot, facing away from everone, which means the back of my truck was exposed for everyone to see...( i was sleeping) went to go hook to my trl later that afternoon and discovered it missing....

another time. in dalton ga, at the pilot i was parked... doing my pre trip at 4am and discovered that all 4 of the LED lights on the back and the 2 LED lights on the side, marker/turn signal were taken, cut the harnesses and all.... missed that 6am appt in atl.

and then in syracuse ny at the small tiny pilot someone hade taken my tv antena that was mounted on the mirror... i wasnt using that one anymore, just never got around to removing it...

Sorry to hear TexasNana. I think that is probably the one thing I do not like about trucking. Hope you feel better! As for stolen items, I had someone take my toll pass out of my truck. Not sure when it happened but company got word it was being used in another truck. Tractors are not hard to break into if you have the know how. It is well worth it having a dog or even alarm for your truck.

Just lug nut covers for me. Of course I try to park in a high visilbility area. Like somebody posted earlier a determined thief is difficult at best to stop, but one can slow the them down.
