"Truth is stranger than fiction" is a truism. Never argue with success, just apply it and go on.
For fun tho: Actually what the light does is the rats know that sneaky deadeye Tibbets kid can see them in the light, so they stay away...Lesson learned.;);)

What are these Packrats you speak of? My Wife says I’m a Packrat. My daughter says we’re both hoarders. Packrat must be a Desert thing? Rats by Me are all Loners. How about those Ferrell Hogs? Got any of those? Texas has a problem, saw it on TV. You need a few Big Outside Cats maybe. Los Angelos has an abundance of large Ferrell Cats. # 99 good choice. I almost picked that myself for my last 1999 Truck. 30 yrs ago,I worked Local at a Beef Supplier, as a Driver and Truck Maintenance . About 14 Trucks. All the #’s were original in date Service #’s. 582, 1184, etc. I thought that was a pretty good idea. Boss took pride in his Trucks, always clean. One glance, and he knew how old it was.

Oh yeah, highlight of the day, fuel for 3.45 gal. Put half a bottle of Lucas fuel treatment, and one bottle of PPFE in each tank, for any water. Dropped the whole #### bottle in the right tank. Lol. I knew that would happen eventually. It did.

Heres a article about the rats. Packrat is just what we call them down here. Also lots of snakes and coyote, bobcat. Even seen deer in the yard when i came home around thanksgiving

They may be cute, but these Southwestern rats pack an expensive punch

Dont u love it when someone does everything they can to wake u up. Backup alarm , stomping on brakes, constant pull up and back up with nonstop brake stomping... Then once u finally get up to look , theyve backed in so you lay down to get back to sleep. Right about that time you fall asleep you hear more brake stomping and look out the window to find that doofus next to you leaving... Rinse and repeat for the next driver

Probably wont be bad closer to phoenix with the higher population. Where I park is way south about 30 mins from mexican border... But i guess it doesnt hurt. Its cheap protection . the last thing id want is a rat to chew threw an ecm or something that would disable the truck . i just have the light clipped underneath the front fender pointed towards the engine and another pointed back between the cab and fuel tank. Lights are on a timer so they turn on at night and shutoff during the day
