Sitting here, killing time, almost 2 hrs early. So this is what it’s like. Not bad, less anxiety than cutting it close and running late. I’m addicted to the Challenge of cutting it close. Always trying to put the least amount of time into a Job. Never could get to a Local Job on time. Same with appointments, always 15 minutes late. Terrible Character Defect of mine. Some sort of defiance of Authority issue I’m sure. Passive Aggressive selfish type thing. My Dad used to say,” why don’t you just walk in and tell the Boss you don’t give a #### about him or his job”? That’s the message you’re sending. He was right. I resented Working for others. He could never understand how I didn’t get fired. Simple, they liked me! Lol. I worked my ### off once I showed up. I’ve been on time for every load 2 weeks running now. I think I’ve finally turned a new leaf. I’ve never been fired, but have quit often before hand. One good thing Today. I can’t get fired. Worst case a Broker gets mad. There’s thousands of Brokers. So far TQL and XPO have banned Me. No real good reason either. Doesn’t matter. Nothing Lost. Who needs them? They’re Scavenger’s anyway.

Well, the battery is deader n dead.

So I had to get one "to go" from Auto Zone, using Missus Skillet's car.

The RF tire on the Bu-hick is sitting on the rim, due to a leak around the bead seat of the rim.

Needs to be demounted, bead seat de-crudified, bead sealer applied, tire inspected, remounted, and balanced. Then put back on the car.

I'd love to find a tire machine and balancer to do this stuff myself.

thats like when i worked at the golf course. they expected you to show up 30 minutes early to when you are scheduled. i was scheduled at 4:30 and walked in the door at 4:29 every morning then punch my time card right at 430. they would get so mad because i would miss the morning meeting where they assigned your tasks for the day.. i told them if you want me here at 4 then schedule me for 4 i dont work for free.... sure didnt make any friends with that method but they started scheduling me for 4am. then i would clock out 30 minutes earlier then everybody else... boss man called me one day , said where the hell are you at... i said i hit my 10 hours for the day because you guys started scheduling me 30 minutes before everyone else, so im going home at the end of my shift. like i told you, i dont work for free.. schedule me an extra 30 minutes if you want me to stay...so they shceduled me back to 430am and put up with my #### for a couple weeks until i gave them a good reason to fire me . which is what happened..but the funny part about that is, i never showed up late. not once. but still managed to piss off every boss that was there by showing up on time.. i never understood the show up 30 minutes early type of bosses. just schedule everyone at the time you want them to be here...

now my mindset has changed a little bit since then . especially with trucking. showing up early to a customer or jobsite gives time to get all the straps off or tarps.. by the time everyone shows up u get unloaded pretty quick and get the f out of there... but i said all that say that im like you, ill be there at the time im supposed to and i never hold people to that standard of showing up 30 minutes early. that usually just throws a wrench into things going smoothly

We are woke. We have started the main engine and are preparing to flee the area ahead of the three foot snow fall.

The OM is condition normal and bouncing around the interior.

    The human is pleased.

Actually had a boss the same way, but he was 15 minutes to 0600 and then work until 1430 and then put away your tools....job didn't last long.
