You gotta start presetting to get set, could then give it time.

I'm crossing the Panhandle today. It's so windy the birds are walking. Fortunately, I'm in dat old arn so I'm just crushin' it. Mileage has actually increased. :D;)

Actually, when I stopped for my 30, I got out and checked that my tanks weren't leaking. :(

    Cascadia life….

“A Schneider mechanic referred me to the Freightliner in North Carolina to get my breaks done, a coolant leak stop and to fix my APU. EXCEL Freightliner has my truck for 3 weeks and counting. The past 2 weeks they claim they are waiting on Parts. So far my experience with Freightliner dealerships suck. Peachstate Freightliner in Forest Park GA, Excel Freightliner in North Carolina and the Freightliner in Maryland.
    This suckssssss”

Well I feel like a bit of a #######.... Apparently driving those neutered fleet automatics takes awhile to get out of your system. I had forgotten how to drive a real truck with big ponies.

Yesterday I had to pull a really steep grade fully loaded and I had a rough time downshifting. Well I was pondering on that last night in bed when it dawned on me... I was shifting at too low of an rpm.

So today I increased the rpm of my shift points by about 150 to 200 rpm. Boy howdy, what a difference that made in how this truck drives!!!

This W9 has a C15 475 Acert, twin turbo, and turned up to 550. I just pulled about a 5.5% grade and was able to accelerate from 30 to 55 in about 3/4 of a mile, while grossing 105,500!!!

And you should hear this ol girl roar... Love the sound of pure unadulterated horse power!
