Well, I'm still in Commie Annex East, having just polished off a plate of chicken parm and spaghetti, and washed it down with a piece of chocolate peanut butter cake with vanilla ice cream, and washed THAT down with a couple cups of coffee.

My already tenuous desire to drive today has fled from me.

I've been on the road since the 15th, two trips through Dayton, but didn't stay long enough to go home.

Missus Skillet ran a resupply mission up to me on the second trip thru, and brought me clean clothes and a little sugar......

Anyway, I had a 6 hour delay at the drop BEFORE loading at Ham Mound, and I told the dispatcher I would probably have to deliver in Albany Saturday instead of Friday morning.

After I loaded, "Any way at ALL you can deliver Friday?"

"I can probably do 5pm, if they will be there to take it."

    "GREAT!! I'll let 'em know!"

So, I leave Ham Mound at 1130am CDT, drive to Albany NY with my foot in the radiator the whole way, taking only 10-hr breaks, and arrive in Albany bang on 5pm.

    "Your maltodextrin is here"......

"Duhhhhhhh........WHAAAA? You're supposed to be here tomorrow.......and I think we already got a truck today....."

Anyway, I was able to unload, ran out my 14 hour clock for the third time on this trip, PC'd to parking, and slept for 14 hours.

And now, with a belly full of food, a good parking space, a bad attitude toward my employer, and the knowledge that I won't get home until after midnight, I think I've finally decided I'm staying put.

    I'll swing by here later.....

I think I'd like to see a parallel universe first, just to kinda get some ideas to build my own.

Gotta go. A guy just sat down at the counter who looks like a "talker". I am MOST ASSUREDLY "not in the mood"..........
