    Oh. My. God. Went to the local grocery store earlier. Saw this......this DUDE in a pickup backing out.
    Looked at the license plate and it said..................................California !!

    The DOOM is real ! Surely he was either lost or just passing thru -

    Wonder how I did that??

    I recall the Gas Lines and the Odd and Even thing, but due to parking the Truck at a local Gas Station the problem wasn't a problem

    I remember the odd/even license plate deal with no fuel on sundays as I remember. Had to line up early on your odd or even day and hope that they didn’t run out before you got to the pump. It didn’t last that long - months as I remember…but I was small then.
