Good god I’m way behind. Weather cooled off so mowed grass this morning. Had enough energy left to weed eat but noooooo - 48 bucks later new part is enroute.

BUT….. later this same day I had a brilliant idea and managed to get it started up and yard trimmed. YaY!

Haven't made the final tally yet... But I think I somehow managed to get nearly 70 hours this week... In 5 days. Plus there is another 8 hours of holiday pay.

Back in 1975, we would have had 2 maybe 3 race bikes in the back as well. Gas cans, tool boxes, tires, a few coolers. Then it would have only been 3 or 4 of us younger ones back there.

I just worked 38 hours in the 3 days since my last reset and this old guy is tired. Time to do another reset tomorrow.

In 1971 my brother and I rode from Michigan to Kentucky in the back of a pickup with a topper on it to visit my grandparents. Had the rollout windows on the sides, summertime , so no problem. We hit a traffic jam in Cincinnati, the floor of that pickup bed got a "little" warm lol. Today that would probably be child abuse. No wonder there is so much whining in this day and age.

Yeah I'm rather tired myself... I been pulling 65 to 75 hour weeks for 3 months. It's starting to catch up to me.
