This is the first def engine I’ve had. So I can compare it with any of the others.

 

No. No lawn mower engines. This one is 505 HP though. The others were 455 HP. They seemed to use a scoshe less. Unless under load.

You wouldn't think 50 HP makes that much difference but it is noticeably stronger.

 

We have checked in at Piggly Wiggly and the puddymungous is having it's breakfast.

 

Gotcha. I have a 600. I am really impressed with the power plant. The rest of the truck is just so so. I mean it’s not been a bad truck, just not nearly as great as the western star fanboys pretend. Definitely not worth the 30 grand mark up over a comparable freightliner.

 

I think Truck 2 that I got for Steve is a 505 as well.

I let him take Casper and go forth and conquer til I got his truck on the fleet in the day.

I drove it up to Prescott to get a trailer and it jumped over the mountains with that empty trailer.

They usually don't do that.

Was their a torque difference as well?

 

I'll have to look at the rating plate, but this definitely has more grunt.
