It’s a bit of the same with guns too. A numbers matching Russian SKS for example is worth a lot more to a collector than a non-matching Chinese, not that the Chinese wouldn’t be a decent shooter but all original commands higher prices.

Numbers matching war issue K98’s are also worth a lot, with the top of the lot having Totenkopf stamps because those were SS issued. Not surprisingly, there are a lot of fakes out there among those rifles.

I've only had The Maro over 100 twice. Think up to 132 when it seemed like I was moving pretty good LOL.

That was my weakness Bought 1970 SS chevelle LS6 454 450hp 500 ft lb torque. Drove it home got a ticket on the way there. First of many kept it till 1995 when I had to sell it for money to dump into my business. Should of closed the business and kept that car lol

The car has been garage stored all its life. 100 percent as delivered from the dealer as ordered.
He even has the window stickers and owners manuals. How I would like to get ahold of that car and do a restoration on it.

    "without a bunker heater"
Not really, but do know about with no bunk... Old timey (thick) furniture pad across IH split seats, hotshot box turned handle forward, pillow propped up against passenger side armrest, couple of army surplus good wool blankets. Lie R side, legs drawn up to drift off. Wake up, shift to back to un kink, twist over to L side.
Sleep all night (3-4 hours) comfortably.

We have concluded fueling and an indigenous 30 at an indigenous Love's in Freeze To Death Iowa.

It's really, really, REALLY cold here.

I wished okiedokie was awake so he could share an inspirational story of the triumph of the human spirit over frostbite, cause I'm afraid now.
