    I gotcha, I know, the WH ain't everybody's thing.

I love the vibe in a Waffle House, and I like the food for what it is. It's generally fast, tasty, filling, and consistent.

Imo, you won't find a better breakfast at that price point unless you cook it yourself. Which you do, and that's fine.

I have met many WH haters, and that's fine. As long as they don't start protesting in the parking lot, I'm cool.

I think we'd be better off as a country and as a people if we all spent more time together at Waffle House....

    The answer: No, we won't."

They are really big down in Georgia.@Opus. I know of a few exits that have a Waffle House on both sides of the interstate. and both stay busy.

Maybe 15 or so years ago, lots of Waffle House locations had a small amount of truck parking. Maybe like 5 or 6 spots. Was a good place to take a ten. Many times had a manager tell me to use the parking any time for breaks. They know it was good PR at the time.

WH food is kinda bland but I prefer that when on the road, less intestinal distress.

Beyond the affordable prices they are very consistent in preparation and quality, Unlike Denny's.

Staff has been consistently good when not over worked to the breaking point. Even when pushed they seem like good people. Noticed one time one of the waitresses that was hustling had stopped by the managers door which was near me, She leaned in and said something along the lines of "I need a bus boy or coffee boy right now more than I need next weeks order". Dude was out the door within a minute and helping the floor and grill folks. Also noticed he thanked the waitress for pulling him to the floor.

The truck has stopped for an indigenous coffee, bag of wedges, and 30 minute DOT break.
